Rights on Arrest
As soon as you are detained you have the right to know why you have been arrested. Once at the Police Station you are entitled to:

Attendance at Court
If you are one of your children are summoned or charged by the police you will be required to attend court and you should see a solicitor as soon as possible. We will be able to give expert advice and represent you in court if necessary. We can give you advice on various issues including bail, pleading guilty or not guilty and the likely sentence you may receive on conclusion of the matter. Sentences available to the court range from discharges and fines, through community penalties such as probation or community service, up to custody.
